As has been standard practice for several years, the National Purebred Breed Spanish Horse Breeders’ Association is pleased to announce that the annual audit performed by AENOR INTERNACIONAL, S.A.U. in March maintains the current Quality Certificate for the management of the PRE Stud Book, in keeping with UNE-EN ISO 9001:2015 standards.
This year, the enhancement and scope of our certification is noteworthy, as our molecular genetics laboratory, which uses DNA technique, has been included. The actual auditors pointed out that the lab is one of strong points that the PRE Stud Book office has to offer, together with its facilities, equipment and analytical processes.
Thus, the Association attains yet another especially important achievement for its breeders by undertaking all analyses at our own laboratory, with a stamp of guarantee that is backed by the aforementioned certification.
Important improvements have been incorporated into our Quality Management System, based on ISO 9001:2015 standards. These have already been implemented by the PRE Stud Book office since 2010. Once again, the audit confirms that all aspects have been effectively and efficiently implemented and with a high degree of maturity.
The PRE Stud Book will continue to be committed in full with quality. It will apply this policy as the foundation for its management system to attain the highest possible degree of satisfaction while guaranteeing quality services for Purebred Spanish Horse breeders the world over.
