As of March 1, and until August 31 of this year, all breeders who inscribe a new foal with the PRE Stud Book will automatically have a genetic coat color analysis (service 243) free of charge, without any need for a specific request. Thus, when the passport for the horse is sent to the breeder, it will include a report with the genotype for the seven (7) genes that intervene in the coat color that has been analyzed. Unless the breeder indicates otherwise, the result of the coat color analysis for the horse will be indicated in the passport with the corresponding coat color sticker.
