Remember that in keeping with the current legislations as established in the Specific Purebred Spanish Horse Stud Book Rules and Regulations (BOE nº 127, May 28, 2012), when embryo transplants are performed that are to be registered in the PRE Stud Book, it is essential that both the donor and receptor mares be registered in the Permanent or Breeding Stock Registers in the PRE Stud Book, in other words, mares must be considered Basic Breeding Stock.
