The deadline to request Letters is near at hand, so we would like to clarify what the Stud Book will be doing in this regard:
Step One:
To avoid any possible problems due to incidences with postal application or any error in the reception of requests, we would like to provide all breeders, in the private area, with updated information about the arrival date of their request at the Stud Book office and the Letters requested. Please check your private account to confirm that all information is correct. The deadline for claims, if something is incorrect, will conclude on the 13th of APRIL 2012.
This initial period is to verify that all the requests have arrived at the Stud Book office correctly; at this point, no letters have been assigned to any breeder. If everything is correct, you need not do anything else until we inform that you have been assigned the definitive letters.
Step Two:
Once the Stud Book office verifies that your requests have all arrived, we will study each case and assign the Letters to each breeder.
Remember that in those cases where several breeders have requested the same Letters, the breeder who fist used those letters on a horse bred on his/her stud farm has preference. In other words, preference will be based on the date of birth of the horse.
The final list with the assignment of letters for each stud farm will be listed on the ANCCE web-site. Once the list is public information, each stud farm will have exclusive use of the corresponding letter/s.
All the steps carried out with regards to this process will be published on the web-site and information will be sent by e-mail. Pleas, be attentive to both means of communication.
Thank you
